Josh Hartmann is the chief practice officer of Cornell Tech, where he leads efforts to shape the campus’s culture and programs, including studio‑based education, product development and startup activities, and student engagement with organizations and industry practitioners.
Hartmann has spent his career building and leading teams in New York’s technology community. Before joining Cornell Tech, he served as chief operating officer of Plusgrade, a technology company serving the airline industry, and as chief technology officer of Amplify, Intent Media, and Travelocity.
Hartmann earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1994.
