Evelyn is the Senior Director of Human Resources for Cornell Tech. Reporting jointly to the Cornell Tech Chief Administrative Officer and the University Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, providing leadership and expertise in the design and implementation of programs, policies, and procedures to ensure the recruitment, development, and retention of a highly qualified, diverse, inclusive, and effective workforce (faculty and staff) at Cornell Tech, including the Jacobs Institute.
Prior to joining Cornell Tech, Evelyn was the Director of Human Resources and Payroll at Indiana University East. She co-chaired the system-wide IU- HR Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Committee and served as an adjunct professor. In 2022 she served as President of the Eastern Indiana Human Resource Association.
Evelyn holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with Counseling and Industrial/Organizational emphases from Oakwood University, and a Master of Education from Central State University. She has also earned two senior-level certifications from the Human Resources Certification Institute (SPHR) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP)
